ISI Libraries

The ISI Library covers all disciplines taught on all types of information media. With 8,000 volumes, it offers a loan service (through a counter). Staff are at the service of students, teachers, and researchers, their mission is to recover the borrowed book.

The Library offers students a collection of reference books dealing with various specialties: Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, French and English Language; basic works in the field of Economics and Human Rights and this concerning all levels of study; End-of-Study Project Memoirs, Specialized Master’s Memoirs as well as recent publications of certain journal titles in printed version.

The Library informs about the novelty of the works acquired. The fund is listed in a database that includes all the works.

Rules of procedure

Opening time

– Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Loan and consultation

The books and periodicals kept in store can be consulted as follows: For Institute teachers 2 to 3 documents for a period of 15 days maximum, renewable only once after having obtained authorization from the head of the library.

For Students: to borrow a document, you must complete a consultation form accompanied by the library card. Home borrowing is only authorized for the weekend.

The Library offers research assistance and support services.

Also the reading room is equipped with network sockets for students with personal laptops (and which also allows internet access).

Documents excluded from the loan

The documents excluded from the loan are:

– Periodicals

– Reference works such as Dictionaries

– Documents on which the mention “excluded from the loan” appears.

Place of study and research

The Library of the Institute is a place of study and research:

– Noise is prohibited: all students must respect the good study conditions of the readers and the work of the Staff.

– The consumption of food and drink is also prohibited.

– Out of respect for other students and staff, smoking is prohibited.

Some rules

– The loan is strictly personal: each borrower is personally responsible for his loan.

– The student who borrows for someone else or who has documents returned by someone else assumes full responsibility. Any loss or deterioration of these documents will be his responsibility.

– Any lost or damaged document must be replaced or reimbursed.
